I am currently sourcing for a Systems Engineering Product Specialist.
The role is based in Milton Keynes and it will be a 6 Month Contract.
A determination was conducted and this role will be inside of IR35 come April.
The rate will be £30
This role will fit into an existing team of 11 people with several of them working the same role albeit on different projects.
This is a full time position (37,5 hrs/week) working normal office hours.
This product focused position performs established technical tasks at the product and cross-business integration level for current and future products within a given business unit or corporate area. This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle. Because of the product centered nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product engineers, product line engineers, customer teams, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.
Must haves:
Good social skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software must have previous experience with FMEA.
Ideally this person would have project experience and experience with battery pack engineering and/or experience as a requirements engineer
Experience:
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required (automotive)
With a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
Ideally this person would have project experience and experience with FMEA, battery pack engineering and/or experience as a requirements engineer.
Experience in mechanical testing is a plus.
Experience with battery packs for heavy-duty vehicles is a plus.
