Part time IT Support Analyst - 1st Line, 2nd Line

Hours: 20 hours total, 4 hours a day Monday to Friday

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 12 months (extensions likely)

Rate : £20 p/h

A large Managed IT Services Provider has an urgent requirement for an enthusiastic Junior IT Support Engineer to work on their end clients site based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a Part Time position as it is 20 hours spread over 5 working days Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing end-user support for all customer facing services
  • Timely resolution of IT related problems within specified SLA's
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems and configuring PCs and associated equipment
  • Installing, upgrading and replacing core hardware and software
  • Escalating any issues when required to Third Line Support

To be considered you will need:

  • Proven experience within a similar IT Support role
  • Good all-round IT Knowledge especially supporting Microsoft products such as Windows 10, Office 365 and SCCM
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • A real passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Certification in A+, MCSA, MCSE, ITSM, or ITIL is desirable although not essential
