We are looking for an experienced individual to take on the role as a Secure Communications Engineer for our globally renowned client based in The Hague, Netherlands. This role is broad and offers a great opportunity to be integral to a really exciting programme of work.
Roles and responsibilities (not limited too);
*Provide secure communications technical and professional guidance to scientific and engineering projects including, but not limited to: concept development, research, prototyping, experimentation and demonstrations, as well as support to operations.
*Participate in the formulation, planning and execution of technical and scientific NATO and multinational programmes of work in secure networking and secure voice topics.
*Develop communications business cases, strategies and implementation plans.
Essential skills and experiences (not limited too);
*Planning, design, system engineering and implementation of large multimedia IP communications networks, including access, transport, and core networks.
*IP-based secure networking protocols and technologies, voice technologies, and cryptographic technologies including key management.
*Assessment of the state of networking technologies and their implementation approaches and associated risks and opportunities.
*Ability to apply architecture methodologies to express complex systems of systems in architectural terms and models of varying detail.
