Description
We are seeking a full product life cycle UX Designer to help enhance and shape our client's products and the future of there online sales domain.
This is a 9 - 12 month contract with a strong possibility of extending, our client is happy to offer some flexible working from home.
You'll be responsible for the Product Design and the Experience it creates with our users. Working hands-on and in collaboration with the cross functional team, as well as in collaboration with other stakeholders in the business, to deliver a great design and User Experience that customers love.
You'll be working on a project within the only eCommerce sales domain so any experience with this is desirable, but not essential.
You'll also have experience of wire frames, prototypes and functional specifications and ideally a deep understanding of usability best practices and accessibility standards.
Skills
- Experience in user-centred design and HCI
- Some User Research experience would be useful (desirable);
- Sketching ability/UI Design
- Experience in full product UI/UX Design (including some UX research)
- Wireframes, Prototypes and functional specifications
- A Knowledge of usability best practices as well as accessibility standards
- Experience with Cross-platform including web, mobile and tablet
- Able to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
