Data Engineer - CI CD - Azure
We are currently looking to engage with a Data Engineer - CI CD - Azure for a large organisation that we have partnered with. The Data Engineer - CI CD - Azure will be engaged on a 6 month initial contract based in Hertfordshire.
Data Engineer - CI CD - Azure will be responsible for the following:
- Develop automation needs across application development, quality assurance and testing, and data management operations.
- Own and improve automation opportunities across the data pipeline consisting of data analysis, data quality and validation, ETL (extract transform load), CDC (Change Data Capture), Regressing Testing, Software Quality, Daily Monitoring, Database etc.
- Provide escalated systems support, problem resolution for Data Pipelines.
- Integrate and schematically depict systems architectures, topologies, hardware, software and signalling links into complete Systems configurations in support of source control strategies, branching, CI/CD, Test Driven Development (TDD), Data Masking, Encryption across sensitive data, DB Statistics Update etc.
- Partner with the security team to respond to prevent, detect and investigate suspicious activity in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The Data Engineer - CI CD - Azure will be working on a digital transformation project.
The Data Engineer - CI CD - Azure will need to work through an Umbrella Company for this engagement.
