SC Cleared SAN - Storage Specialist (Storewize/Brocade)- Winchester - 12 months
Opening for SC Cleared SAN Storage Specialist in Hursley, Winchester
Initially this will be a 12-month contract.
Please note in order to gain access to the client site you will need to have current up to date Security Clearance to SC (Secret) level.
This will be working on a large UK Government programme. Centred on identity assurance and identity management for British nationals.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Storage presentation aligned with IBM's best practice
- Understanding of XIV architecture
- Be able to use/setup mirroring on the XIV
- Day to day BAU operations for allocation of storage
IBM Storewize
- Storage presentation aligned with IBM's best practice
- Understand and configure the RAID configuration of the V7K
- Be able to use the V7K as virtual storage
- Troubleshoot performance issues
- Day to day BAU operations
Brocade SAN
- Configure Brocade SAN fabric
- Be able to understand zoning and best practice
- Firmware upgrades of the SAN Switches
- Troubleshoot on the SAN fabric
