Description
We are currently looking for 2x Ruby on rails Developers for a 6 months contract in USA (REMOTE). The candidates can work from home for now given the Covid-19 outbreak.

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of significant features, driving them from development to production
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams including Frontend, Design, QA, Product, and Operations
- Mentor and pair with junior developers
- Proactively monitor applications using tools such as New Relic, Logstash, and Kibana
- Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence at a rapidly growing company
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Ruby, Rails, and PostgreSQL
- Integration experience needed
- Minimum 5 years software development experience at startup/mid-sized companies
- Fluency using Git and GitHub in a team environment
- Familiarity with Front End concerns (DOM, HTML5/CSS3)
Pluses:
- Experience with multiple languages (Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, C, Elixir, Go)
- Experience with multiple Ruby runtimes (MRI, JRuby, Rubinius)
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with Front End JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Meteor
- Experience with NoSQL database such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis
- Experience with distributed systems and message buses such as RabbitMQ
- Experience working on an E-commerce platform
