NextLink is having an existing position as a Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer for global project in Valencia, Spain

Tasks and responsibilities
• Be responsible for the design, build, implementation, and delivery of scalable Microsoft Azure solutions, with a focus on Azure IaaS and PaaS;
• Review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements to establish new Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and infrastructures;
• Execute assessment, migration and implementation plans to deploy Azure infrastructures and move workloads to Azure using native Azure migration tools or third-party tools;
• Have the ability to go technically deep across Azure
services, actively seek solutions to the needs of internal and
external customers, communicate trends to management and drive Azure product improvements;
• Support the evolution of the Azure services through the design and implementation of new service features;
• Work in close collaboration with other ICC technical teams including Information Security, Architecture, Service Management, etc.
• Improve internal efficiency and customers happiness by finding opportunities to optimize existing processes and tools;
• Prepare technical documentation on the Azure services and related procedures and operations;
• Perform other duties as required

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure service structure and core features;
• Sound conceptual and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services including:
o Compute (Virtual Machines, App Service, Scale Sets, Azure Functions)
o Containers (Azure Kubernetes, Container Instances
o Databases (Cosmos DB, Azure MySQL, Azure Maria DB, Azure SQL, Azure PostgreSQL)
o DevOps (Azure DevOps, Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans)
o Identity (Azure Active Directory, AAD Domain Services, AAD B2C, Azure Information Protection)
o Management (Microsoft Azure Portal, Azure Advisor, Cloud Shell, Azure Backup, Azure Cost Management, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Azure Scheduler)
o Storage (File Storage, Archive Storage, Disk Storage, Blob Storage, Queue Storage, Data Box)
o Web (Web Apps, Azure Search, Azure Maps)
o Migration (Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery)
o Networking (Virtual Network, Application Gateway, Azure DNS, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, Azure CDN, Traffic Manager)
Education:
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
Experience:
• Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues;
• Experience in drafting technical documents.
Nice to have
Functional Knowledge and Skills:
• Sound conceptual and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services including:
o AI + Machine Learning (Azure Bot, Azure Databricks, Machine Learning)
o Analytics (SQL DWH, HDInsight, Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Event Hubs)
o Azure Blockchain Services, Logic Apps
o Developer Tools (Visual Studio, SDKs, CLIs, Azure Pipelines, Azure Lab Services)
o Integration (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid)
o Media
o Security (Azure Security Center, Azure DDoS Protection, Azure Information Protection)
• Good knowledge of managing Windows workloads (Windows Servers & IIS)
Education:
• ITIL certification
• PRINCE2 certification
Experience:
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in migrating from on-premise systems to Microsoft Azure;
• Experience working with customers on Cloud specific solutions and deployments;
• Experience with CI/CD Pipeline
