Role: Validation Engineer
Location: Swindon
Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
Length: 6 months
Rate: Please quote hourly rate expectation
A global semi-conductor company is searching for a Validation Engineer to join them on a contract basis for an initial 6-month period.
Key Skills:
* Extensive silicon knowledge
* Extensive evaluation experience
* Physical silicon evaluation at both chip and board level based on defined evaluation plans
* Validation of components on a test bench
* Knowledge of multiple test bench components
* Good knowledge of test bench measurement instruments
* Experience specifying evaluation set-ups on a test bench
* Evaluation of hardware schematics
* Component selection experience
* Strong understanding of silicon behaviour
* Data sheet experience
* Modification of existing test bench software
* Python
* Debugging
