Description
We are looking for a TV Solution Engineer (50% Devops/50% Support). Real Time TV, video-on-demand, replay session, for 2 mio of customers.
The person will be the bridge between Development & Operations.
What does it mean?
She/He will participate in the daily scrum meeting, and follow up all the developments with the Development Team, without being 100% involved in the development itself, as a developer would be.
The goal is to understand what needs to be develop in terms of monitoring, alerts, graphics, trends, preventive maintenance, ... once everything is in production.
She/he will also automate a maximum of it (processes, Scripting, automation).
She/he will provide support, do the troubleshooting and solve the issues.
She/he will participate to the on-duty service.
The development team is onsite, mostly English speaking.
The operations team is onsite and mostly Dutch & French speaking.
Required skills:
- Min 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Devops/Scripting and Support
- Languages; English + one of the 2 other languages NL/FR
Long term assignment. First 3 months contract. Renewable.
