Description
For a major financial client in Amsterdam, I'm looking for an experienced Front End Software Engineer.
Together with a small but senior and dedicated team, you will be working on creating a renovation platform. The first step in their product roadmap is a mobile communication app focused on renovations. In the coming months they need to ship extra features to distinguish ourselves and convert users from Whatsapp to their platform.
It will be your responsibility to develop the Front End of our application and ship features. In the development process you will be involved in all aspects of planning, designing, and delivering of the software for this initiative. They expect you to take ownership and be an expert in your field.
The stack: The Back End is built in Ruby on Rails and the Front End is composed out of a cross platform App (iOS/Android) built in Ionic(5), TypeScript and Angular(9). For the data layer and communication with the Back End they use Apollo/GraphQL over websockets. The mobile app is based on offline-first principles and they rely heavily on typesafe code-generation based off the graphQL schema.
As the initiative is gaining traction they are likely to ditch ionic/angular for an alternative cross-platform framework (react-native, flutter) to enable their future plans/requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years experience as Front End developer (HTML/CSS)
- 2+ years experience with Angular
- 1+ years experience of Ionic
- 1+ years experience with GraphQL
- Knowing JavaScript/Typescript inside out including the ES6, ES7 and ES8 featureset
- Good overall command of Agile software development
- Good overall command of Software Development Lifecycle best practices
- Experienced working with TDD/BDD and writing and creating E2E integration testing
