Description
We are working on behalf of one of the largest engineering companies in the world who are seeking a composite technician for a minimum 3 month contract. This role is based in Hampshire, you must be local to the site and is paying £21.60 per hour. You will be joining an enthusiastic manufacturing team who are manufacturing test coupons, test beams and develop process trials.
To be considered for the role you must have the following experience;
- Resin Infusion, Hand layup and vacuum consolidation with Epoxy, Polyester and vinyl ester resin systems.
- Have a good knowledge for fibre directions, orientation and fibre alignment
- Manufacture and assemble composite components for test components including layup, installation, adhesive bonding, drilling and tapping
- Be able to work from engineering drawings, work instructions and Standard operating procedures
- Efficiently use calibrated equipment and machinery as part of assembly processes and component manufacturing
- Had prior experience of resin infusion ideally building boats or manufacturing wind turbine blades.
