As a Senior VFX artist you will help create Real Time particle effects such as magic, fire, explosions and environment effects for our projects. Real Time particle effect creation is composed of several areas: Effect simulation, particle creation, material authoring, texture creation, effects playback setup, content profiling and optimization. Most VFX artists will work in all areas to some degree but there is also room for specializing.
Responsible for creating in-game particle effects. Ensures that Effects are setup correctly in the level. Create Effects from concept to completion for different gameplay requirements. Contribute to content creation workflow and tool development for the VFX team. Work collaboratively with the Art/Design/Engineering disciplines to support and resolve artistic challenges.. Develop a good understanding of the Art direction and create effects to support the vision.
This role is fully remote with travel to the office (based in Atherstone) twice a month.
