Description

My client is recruiting for a Jamf engineer on a four month initial contact with the open to go permanent thereafter on a remote start working basis (Uxbridge post covid-19)

The successful candidate will be a Jamf-certified, MDM experienced engineer that can contribute to the maintenance of the service and various related project work. Mobile Device Management service is used to manage end user devices across the company

Experience with an enterprise level MDM is highly desired. Very strong knowledge with macOS and iOS is essential.

Responsibilities:

In addition, you will need to:

  • Keep the Jamf related tickets queue updated
  • Have experience supporting macOS devices
  • Have strong experience with using and administrating JAMF Pro
  • Have good working experience with at least one Scripting language: Bash, Python etc.
  • Have great customer relationship skills
  • Have good written & verbal communication skills
  • Be flexible and customer solution focused

Essential Skills:

  • JamF expertise
  • Familiar with Docker
  • Familiar with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Linux systems administration, storage subsystems, networking, communication protocols, SOA, data-store technologies, cloud ecosystems, and distributed systems architecture.
  • Can create and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines (Git/Github, Jenkins etc)
