Mechanical Lead Engineer

For a client of ours we are looking for a Mechanical lead engineer (for a high-tech project):
Location: Eindhoven region
Duration: 1 year afterwards takeover by end-client (DetaVast)
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering at WO level, preference in precision mechanics
* 5+ years of relevant work experience with high-tech and/or medical systems
* Experience in managing a (small) team of mechanical engineers
* Designs mechanical concepts based on construction principles
* Is able to perform (hand) calculations to define design direction
* Is familiar with topics from mechatronic systems such as thermal aspects, dynamics and tolerance budgeting
* Is familiar with production techniques used for precision mechanics
* Experience with Solidworks is an advantage
