GPT & Ad Engineer (100% remote)
Immediate need for a sharp GPT & Ad Engineer to be responsible for auditing and improving our ad setup on our web sites.
You will be evaluating our site code and GPT Ad footprint and identifying potential issues, implementing strategies to improve ad serving efficiency & speed across multiple brands.
This is a 100% remote, 1 to 2 month contract position with potential extension (no guarantees). You have the option to work in our office if that is your preference. Great opportunity to make an impact on mission critical projects.
We would also consider Engineers that want to work part time in the evenings and weekends.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- GPT (Google Publisher Tag)
- React
- Strong understanding of modern Web UI performance
- Strong technical understanding of how ads interact with site code
- Strong understanding of the ads ecosystem (especially on the programmatic side)
- Experience optimizing for site efficiency and speed
- Experience building technical performance patterns
- JavaScript threading and minimizing blocking task
- Web development experience building and launching products using modern SPA Front End techniques
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate with other team members
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Git
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Highly preferred)
