Data Scientist

Brief Overview

Triad have an exciting contract opportunity to work on-site with our client, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist, ideally from an energy background, who is looking to take on a new challenge.

The role is not scheduled to start until September 2020, so this gives you plenty of time to prepare. We have placed a number of people on-site here and can put you in contact with local landlords. Our understanding is that Denmark is returning to normal after COVID-19.

The initial contract will be until the end of the year and will then extend for a further 6 months minimum. The rate will be around £500 per day.

Job Details

  • Model development:
    • Develop new Power Optimisation models (monitoring/abnormal operation models) & business case calculations.
  • Model maintenance:
    • Move Power Optimisation models into production environments (ie pitch and Hype) and maintenance of models.
  • Product performance:
    • Drive visualization of product performance and other related topics, for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills Required

  • D. or Master's degree in Sustainable Energy, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Mathematical Modelling, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • The ability to implement models and tools using high-level modelling languages.
  • Experience with prototyping and developing software in traditional programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, VBA coding, WTL, SFGU, PI system Explorer, Spotfire, Control-M, task scheduler, PowerPoint, git, DORECO, AZURE DevOps, SFGU and WTL.
