Description
We are looking for a contract Electrical/AutoCAD Design Engineer to work for a business with offices in the Central Belt, Scotland.
This is for an initial 6 month with the position to start later this month. The first month maybe completed remotely whilst offices open back up etc.
MS teams interview slots are available. Some flexibility on start and finish times is available if required.
Typical tasks
- Detailed design and engineering requirements from concepts, calculations and ideas into an engineering drawing format
- Preparation of detailed schedule of materials components and assembly information to support engineering drawings.
Skills Needed
- 8 years + commercial experience
- Strong AutoCad is essential
- Knowledge of engineering systems and processes
- Engineering change control, international standards, component selection
- Advanced knowledge of panel building and installation, Motor control centres, drives etc
- Robotics/Manufacturing experience is desirable
