You MUST have the following:
- Strong experience as a Python Developer/Software Engineer/Programmer
- Advanced Python
- Front Office trading experience within a brokerage, investment bank or asset manager
- An understanding of Fixed Income, FX, equities or commodities trading
- Cloud, even from home projects, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Knowledge of derivatives such as futures, options, forwards and swaps
- Knowledge of Fixed Income derivatives such as IRS and CDS
Role: Python Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Python Developer Lead Senior Front Office Front Office Trading Brokerage Buy Side Buy-Side Investment Manager Asset Management Fixed Income FX Equities Commodities Amazon Web Services AWS Google Cloud Platform GCP Azure Derivatives Finance) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a team within Fixed Income technology that is dedicated to the generation of solutions for the risk and performance business areas. The team is almost 10 in size and works with both Python and Java to create these solutions in a heavily AWS environment. The requirements come from a team of risk and performance specialists. In addition to this work, the team are implementing a risk aggregation system and looking to migrate the SQL Server on premise environment to AWS, whilst considering potential NoSQL solutions.
You must have excellent Front Office trading experience for this position. Your Python will be to a high standard and you will be up to date in Agile/CI/CD practices. You will also have worked with AWS, GCP or Azure, whether in a commercial environment or at home.
