LOCATION: This is a fully remote working role
THE ROLE:
Our electronic client urgently requires an Embedded Software Engineer for an initial 3 month contract. Interviews are to take place this week, with the successful candidate starting ASAP. A start date of next week is possible if you are available.
In this role you will be tasked with bug fixing an existing low-power Microcontroller-based platform.
For this role, you must have IAR and 8 bit Microcontroller experience (ideally Atmel AVR), and must have proven experience debugging Embedded software.
KEY SKILLS:
- Excellent and demonstrable fault-finding capabilities
- IAR C/C++ compiler and toolchain experience
- Low-level 8 bit Microcontroller experience (ideally 8-bit AVR Microcontroller experience) firmware development and fault-finding experience
- Must have home workshop capabilities
