Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contract EPLAN Design Engineer to join them.
A significant amount or remote work is available, with their offices based in Milton Keynes and Birmingham.
This will be for a 6 Month initial contract, outside of IR35.
Responsibilities/Duties;
- Electrical design of new products and modifications
- Work with customers to deliver improved product design.
- Electrical systems - Control panels, generator controls, motor control centres.
- Plan workload and effectively communicate progress of projects.
- Create, maintain and follow specific design standards.
- Specifying cost effective electrical components, enclosure, cable types/sizes to match project requirement
- Involvement in Industrial Automation & Robotic systems
- Producing Bill of Materials, wire/cable lists, preparation
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 7 years electrical engineering design experience.
- Extensive electrical systems knowledge gained through equipment design experience.
- 3 years expertise in EPLAN
- It essential you have Pro Panel and smartwire experience
- Ability to work to tight timescales and under pressure.
- Automotive sector experience is desirable
