Ab Initio Developer (Ab Initio, ETL) - Northampton - Initial 3-month contract
Ab Initio Developer required to join a multinational information technology company based in Northampton on an initial 3-month contract with the view to extend.
The role
As part of this opportunity, you will be working on a large project for a Financial Services end client.
Responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will be responsible for:
- Ab Initio design and development
- Analysing the ETL analysis, design and framework
- Building enterprise ETL based system with focus on recovery, performance and stability
Mandatory Skills
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- An in depth understanding of ETL analysis and design, frameworks on Ab Initio
- Extensive Database experience
- Experience of working in Windows, Unix and Linux Operating Systems.
- Hands-on experience of building enterprise ETL based system with focus on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability and performance.
- An ability to develop solutions involving ETL any Big Data concepts
- Extensive software development skills.
- Experience of implementing complex file transformations.
