Final Viewer (Quality Inspection of CNC machined parts)
Location: West Midlands
Initial Duration: 6 months
Rate £Competitive Hourly PAYE
Overview of the Role
As the Final Viewer you will be conducting final inspection of parts, inspection of paperwork (manual/digital) and passing off or rejecting before proceeding to the next part.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect products and documentation ensuring full compliance to the Quality management system and Customer requirements.
- Certify product on CofC or EASA release documentation
- Control and upload documentation in line with requirements
- Conduct additional inspection checks (ZDP) on specific units
- Log any non-conformance on SAP
- Log Turn backs on the dedicated system
- Update approval log
- Work to shipping board and update once units complete
- Support continuous improvement deployment of ACE through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Control, operate and maintain stock control systems as appropriate
- Transportation of materials, tools and equipment as necessary
About You:
- Apprentice trained (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) would be an advantage
- Experience in final verification
- Flexible approach with a willingness to work as part of a team, actively following the ACE operating principles and the Four Gears philosophy.
- Calm under pressure and responsive to change
- Good communication skills
