Acquisition Officer with Cantonese (+ Mandarin desired)
6-month contract in London, £17.89ph
My client, a Bank that provides investment products and wealth management services, is looking for Acquisition Officet fluent in Cantonese to identify opportunities to acquire and onboard the new to bank mass affluent and high net worth clients by way of referrals. Candidate will be managing and supporting a large acquisition portfolio of Chinese clients mainly residing in Hong Kong.
Key skills:
- Language proficiency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus
- University degree in a related area, preferably in Finance or Economics
- Exceptional organisation skills and good time management skills
- Ability to work well under high pressure - demonstrating flexibility and the ability to tolerate ambiguity in a fast moving multi-tasking environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to quickly attend, understand and close issues
- Developed client relations and sales skills
Responsibilities:
- Establishing strong relationship with Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers as a team to ensure an efficient and streamlined account opening, onboarding and servicing journey for customers
- Generate New To Bank acquisition growth that will ensure delivery of the team's business objectives through effective client acquisition
- Proactive client calls, reviewing and maintaining client relationship by actively promoting client wealth management platform and digital banking
- Taking responsibility to build relationships with key clients and influencers, instilling a sense of teamwork and pro-activity, and work closely with covered regions/countries to increase the client database through sourcing new client referrals
