Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Officer for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £/day (inside of IR35).
The Role:
You will be a member of the Hardware Team and will support the build, delivery and installation of IT hardware (Desktop PCs) across the organisation - Acute/Community locations as part of a Windows 10 Desktop Refresh Project.
These installations will range from single devices to individual areas/departments to larger volumes as part of project related deployment.
Requirements:
Desktop Analyst must have either relevant technical education of qualification or at least 2 years of IT experience within specialist area.
Essential - Degree/HND in IT or associated discipline with at least 2 years' experience in Desktop support role, field or call centre based, project or service support OR Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certified training in Microsoft Desktop operating systems, or Microsoft applications or HP/Dell/Lexmark hardware certification.
Desktop Analyst will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to liaise effectively with Internal and Senior External Managers.
Full clean driving licence and access to their own car.
Desirable Skills:
Qualified in ITIL IT Service Management
Exposure to Health Service Desktop services
Additional HP/Dell/Lexmark(other vendor) hardware training/certification
