Major public sector organisation in Brussels, Belgium URGENTLY requires a high calibre and experienced System Administrator (SYSAD).
Knowledge & Skills
- ITILv3 certification(s);
- Ability to write technical notes in English; Candidates must be fluent (level C1/C2) in either English or French and at least independent user (level B1/B2) in the other language (French or English).
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
- Good communication skills;
- Quick learning ability is required, being organized, versatile and a results-oriented team player;
- Experience in providing support for enterprise environment;
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies and environments;
- Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 Server administration;
- Expertise in WAMP/LAMP (Linux/Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) application administration;
- Symantec & NetApp Backup administration and recovery procedures;
- VMware & Hyper-V management and administration;
- Shared storage administration (NetApp/IBM/HP);
- TCP/IP protocol and related services in a Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 environment: DNS, DHCP, WINS;
- Hardware environment (Server);
- Good Scripting skills (Shell, bash)
- Very good knowledge of PowerShell 2+;
- Minimum 1 technical certification:
- MCSA/MCSE: Server Infrastructure
- MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 and above
- (Storage) NCSA, NCDA, NCIE
- (Virtualization) VCA-DCV, VCP4/5-DCV, VCAP4/5-DCA, VCAP4/5-DCD, VCDX4/5-DV, VCA-WM, VCP4/5-DT, VCAP-DTD, VCDX-DT - MCTS, MCITP: Virtualization Administrator (or higher)
- (Linux) RHCSA, RHCE, RHCJD, RHCJA
- Oracle RDBMS database administration
