SharePoint Specialist
Valletta, Malta
12-month contract
€370 per day
My Client are a globally leading Organisation and are looking for an English-speaking SharePoint Specialist to join their ongoing project In Valletta, Malta. You will be integrated into the team where you will be managing the project team.
Your Tasks:
- Contribute to the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the application and its related software products and artefacts
- Manage and configure components, including its source code, solution architecture, software components, design patterns, database schemas and configuration of its SharePoint Back End system
- Monitor and report on usage as well as perform security audits of the system
- Produce and maintain technical and system documentation
- Interact with project teams and other stakeholders involved in underlying application infrastructure and applications
- Work with staff and key stakeholders to define the high-level solution to be delivered, and implement the solution according to the agreed requirements
- Implement the final design (ie "look-and-feel") of the User Interface (UI) collaborating with communication staff
- Coordinate technical reviews ensuring that the application UI meets usability, functional, and client's UI guidelines and standards
- Collaborate with governance/oversight group to align with corporate strategy
- Provide training and act as a "point of contact" for web related questions and requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree with at least 6 years of IT professional experience;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in web site management
- Minimum 3 years of web design/development experience with web design tools
- At least 2 years of SharePoint development experience (eg Web Parts, Apps, Themes, Scripts, Workflows, Add-in model)
- At least 1 year of SharePoint architectural experience on an enterprise implementation
- 2 years of Microsoft administration experience on Windows operating systems
- Scripting and/or Microsoft .NET development experience is advantageous
- Experience in software development in .NET framework, and for SharePoint version 2013 and above
- Good understanding of SharePoint, PowerShell and SharePoint Management Shell, as well as the different out of the box web parts and their functionality
- Experience in web development and web design, including RESTful web APIs, JSON, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CS
- Experience in developing using a Front End framework such as Vue JS, Angular or jQuery
- Experience with reporting and PowerBI integration
- Experience with Azure Active Directory
- Demonstrated experience translating a final design into a finished web presence
- Experience with SQL server database structures, procedural programming and development of SSIS packages
- Experience on SharePoint Online will be considered an asset
- Experience on Azure will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of English language.
