DevOps Engineer - SC Cleared - AWS - London
Robson Bale are looking for an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer for an initial 6 month contract in South London.
6 month contract, market rates.
Candidates MUST be SC Cleared as this is an immediate start.
The Role:
- Accountable for infrastructure architecture, working with the development and data science teams to define and implement the infrastructure solutions
- Defining and implementing DevOps best practices
- Deploy, automate, maintain and manage the AWS cloud-based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of production systems.
- Have hands-on active involvement in the solution development including build and configuration
- Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
The successful candidate will:
- AWS experience (eg EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, Dynamo DB)
- Experience working with AWS serverless solutions
- Scripting Skills: Strong Scripting (eg Python) and automation skills.
- Operating Systems: Linux system administration
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools
- Database Administration Experience
- Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
