Infrastructure Engineer Newcastle/Remote - 6 months
We are working closely with a Government Office based in Newcastle; they are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to work remotely/in Newcastle for an initial 6 months, with potential for extension.
This is an urgent requirement with the successful applicant needing to start in the next few weeks.
Key Requirements and Skills
* Networking concepts (VPCs, NACLs, Routing, ELBs, Direct Connect, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud InterconnecT)
* Compute (EC2, VMs, etc)
* IAM management
* Storage (S3, EFS, Data Lake, Cloud Storage)
* Database Services (RDS, Dynamo DB, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Cosmos DB, Table Storage, etc)
* Serverless (Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions)
* Infrastructure as Code: Cloud Formation, Terraform
* Microservices and containerisation
* Security & understanding best practices and how to secure cloud resources
