Windows Server Operations Analyst II
6 month contract with potential to extend or convert at some point
will work remote through 2020, 2021 at some point will be working on site in Richardson, TX
Rate: depends on level of experience $40 - $49/hr W2 contract pay
Qualifications:
- 5 years working with ans supporting Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2012 (and newer) and server hardware to include experience with Active Directory, GPO, Login Scripts, DNS, DHCP, File/Print services required
- Must have hands on experience with PowerShell, Azure or other cloud technologies, SCCM and SCOM as well as NetApp
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 server support Incident response and escalation for 3 data centers and office branches
- Physical and virtual server implementations and deployments, including hardware and O/S
- Support daily backup operations, including on-demand backups and restores
- Maintain and support software pushes and Windows Updates, monitor Windows Server environment with SCOM
- Management of IT enterprise applications:
- Active Directory including Group Policy, DHCP, DNS and DFS
- VMWare virtualization
- Azure cloud
- System Center Operation Manager (SCOM)
- System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Whole disk encryption (WDE) devices
- Remote offices file and print Servers
- Support and implement policies, procedures and internal controls in support of the server infrastructure
- Provide backup assistance as needed for teams responsible for data recovery/archive and infrastructure equipment (PDUs, UPSs, KVM Switches, etc.)
- Provide and maintain internal documentation
