Application Security Manager
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an experienced Application Security Manager to join a Global FMCG company on a long-term, remote assignment.
This role will be part of a large-scale security transformation programme, hence my client is looking for someone that can lead the application program end to end. Furthermore, the right candidate will possess the necessary technical expertise to understand the intricacies involved.
Application Security Manager Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with Application Security
- Strong knowledge of OWASP including common application security vulnerabilities eg, CSS, CSRF, SQL injection, input/output validation, etc. and how to engineer applications to avoid them.
- Expertise in application security testing, static and dynamic analysis, utilizing leading application security platforms such as VeraCode, MicroFocus Fortify etc.
- Ability to identify technical security vulnerabilities from code reviews/testing and provide guidance to application developers.
- Prior experience in programming in one or more Server Side technologies
- Experience with web application penetration testing methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with web application Firewalls, SDLC, and central authentication solutions and concepts - SAML solutions as well as an understanding of LDAP/Active Directory.
- Experience in the design and rollout of enterprise application security program from the ground up. (Present for at least 14 months of the program).
- Based in the EU or US
- GWAPT certification is a big plus
- Communication skills, project management experience
Contract details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months, extension highly possible
- Agreement: 100% remote
- Rate: Euros per hour, competitive, depending on experience and skill-set
