BI Developer, MI Developer, Power BI, Requirements Gathering, Report Creating, Datamodelling
My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking an MI/BI developer to work remotely on an initial 3 month contract basis. This role will be paying up to £160 per day via Umbrella.
You will be required to manage the delivery of MI/BI reporting, from requirements gathering to report distribution via Power BI.
The successful candidate will be liaising with key stakeholders to gather business requirements, then will develop relevant reporting within Power BI - data acquisition, data load/transform (Power Query/M), measure creation (DAX), and visual presentation (UX).
Essential Skills:
- Power Query/M Language - Import & Transform
- DAX - Standard measures, including CALCULATE and X Functions
- Visualisation best-use and UX design, including bookmarking
Desirable Skills:
- On-prem gateways
- Dataflows
- Power Automate (Flow)"
