Description
Senior Software Engineer (Python) is required to join a relatively new data science team for a leading financial services organisation. This growing team are looking for a Software engineer with technical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Python and a Machine Learning operational background. This growing team are using Data Science techniques and machine learning models to improve aspects of the business.
The Senior software engineer who can provide leadership mainly around Data science life cycle, emerging python techniques and practices to deliver practical solutions.
The Job
Working in a fast-paced team with cutting edge technologies, your job will be to build a platform where the client can deploy data science/Machine learning use cases.
In a talented team of engineers you will be given a great deal of autonomy and as you will be breaking new ground the freedom you will need to do great work.
You will be involved throughout the entire life cycle from initial discussions with key stakeholders and the analysts and the data team, then taking the model into a web service system.
You will be joining a team of 12 (mix of engineers and data scientists) that are responsible for developing machine learning solutions that have a commercial impact on the business.
The successful candidate will have:
- Solid Python development experience and have experience of CI/CD tools (deploying your own code)
- Knowledge of Data science life cycle
- experience with Machine learning models in production settings
- Cloud experience (Azure would be great, but we are flexible)=
