DATA ENGINEER
Public Sector Client
5 Month Contract
Newcastle/Remote
SC Cleared Role
Negotiable Day Rate
Inside IR35
Role Duties:
*Be responsible for developing accurate and efficient data solutions
*Ensure the stability, robustness, and resilience of products you design and build
*Support continuous improvement of standards
*Provide leadership to develop engineers
*Provide technical guidance alongside other data engineering functions for customers
*Translate business requirements to ensure they are clear and robust
*Transform requirements into data models
*Define control mechanisms and strategies for the source code of products
*Perform data profiling and quality measurements
*Designing and developing reusable metadata libraries
*Identify, manage and resolve issues
Technical Issues & Experience Required:
*Understands core technical concepts
*Able to identify simple patterns and trends
*Able to investigate problems and opportunities in existing processes and contribute solutions
*SC clearance current would be helpful
*Knowledge of MS Access
*Knowledge of AIX Unix, Inges DB, SQL Scripting, and querying knowledge
*Public sector experience ideally
