Senior Mobile UI Developer/Engineer/Programmer - JavaScript, React, Redux, Mobile, PWA, iOS, Progressive Web Applications, AWS, Amazon Web Services, Portfolio Management, Investment Management - OUTSIDE IR35 - £600 - £700 per day
A Senior Mobile UI Developer, experienced in React with good knowledge of mobile engineering principles such as PWA, is urgently sought after by a leading global Investment Manager. This will be working within their Front Office Portfolio Management function, building out a greenfield cloud-hosted Portfolio Management platform.
This is a hands on engineering position responsible for designing and writing Front End code using modern development techniques such as CI/CD and TDD. You will need a design orientated mindset with experience in both UI development on both desktop and mobile devices.
To be successful, you will require the following:
A strong UI engineering background using JavaScript with React and Redux, NodeJS and Webpack
Experience of developing HTML mobile applications ideally having delivered Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
Experience using Material UI design system
An Agile mindset, following TDD/BDD and modern DevOps practices such as CI/CD
Proficient testing with Cypress
Whilst not critical, an understanding of Capital Markets, particularly Investment Management, would be beneficial
