I am currently working with the world's largest client who are looking for a Software Engineer
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Discussing and understanding the requirements of clients/application owner for new development;
Creating architectures and workflows for the applications that match the given requirements;
Working alongside my team members to ensure the tasks are completed with as few errors as possible;
Refactoring and reviewing written code to ensure that the programming guidelines are met and also to optimize the application as much as possible.
Writing code comments on code that is more complicating, explaining how it works and what it should do.
Creating architecture for integrating with other systems
Developing wrapper layers to enable communication between apps that are written in different programming languages or OS;
Designing and creating automated scheduled jobs to pull/push information between systems
Synchronizing data between applications
KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in programming in the following languages: C#, VB, JavaScript, SQL, CSS, LESS, Java
Proficient in programming patterns: Singleton, ObjectFactories, ParallelProgramming, MultiThreading, Queues, Semaphores etc.
Proficient in using the following IDE's: Visual Studio, Eclipse, Sql Server Management Studio
Proficient in the following technologies/libraries: jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, sapnco, sapjco, TypeScript
High experience in interacting programmatically with SAP: BAPI's, Queries and Transactions
Very analytic and pragmatic
Very good knowledge of creating high-level business flows and transposing them into code;
Very good experience with setting up environments (QA or PROD) and monitoring them;
Leader and team-player;
Putting a focus on continuous self-improvement
Always trying to improve the quality of work and learning new techniques/technologies
