A leading Bank is looking to hire a Stakeholder Project Director, COO for WPB Technology division. This Technology area is looking for an Engagement Lead to help deliver comms Globally to the 13,500 workforce. The position doesn't currently exist in the team so they are looking for someone who has strong stakeholder management and has innovation ideas on how to communicate the message to their team as the team transition to Agile way of working.
This role is inside IR35, paying Daily rate up to £600/day PAYE or £760/day Umbrella.

- The global role holder is responsible for leading stakeholder programme management encompassing engagement and communications for the WPB Technology CIO, COO and ExCo (Senior Leadership Team).
- Role holder leads the Stakeholder Projects team, the strategy and execution of WPB IT's integrated engagement programme that supports the achievement of WPB IT strategic priorities, including ongoing transformation and change activities.
- This senior role directs and delivers the programme of activity that:
- Drives employee awareness, understanding and engagement with the global priorities for WPB Technology.
- Connects the function as a global community.
- Encourages visible leadership and dialogue.
- Enables employees to discuss, challenge and contribute ideas.
- Supports the delivery of organisational change including the Transformation.
- Supports the function's people and recognition agenda.
The role also helps drive the WPB IT Communications network to deliver targeted, consistent communication campaigns within and about WPB Technology
Required Experience:
- An experienced Banking Technology professional (Director level or Consultant), expert in communications, project and stakeholder engagement
- Needs to possess the following:
- Proven track record in developing, managing and implementing high impact and sustainable engagement strategies.
- Ability to strategically lead the overall communication response to key campaigns, projects and issues.
- Experience of leading and operating in a customer-centric, technology-led or technology-enabled organisation and/or large technology function
- Proven experience in leading global change and transformation projects.
- An experienced leader who can consistently deliver superior team performance, identify and develop talent and work collaboratively with peers.
- Experience managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships by Matrix and virtually.
- Experience leading engagement during periods of significant change.
- Gravitas and ability to interact with and coach senior executives.
- Ability to understand business issues and devise solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues.
- Able to work within an ambiguous environment, priorities and reconcile competing demands and resolve complex issues.
- Experience of managing budgets and cost plans.
