My Client a leading blue chip company based in Leeds are searching for a Scala developer for an inside IR35 contract. To work closely with marketing and data science team to provide solutions for various product requirements and excellent personalization experience. You will engage heavily in design and discovery while designing infrastructure and systems to scale easily as data ingest grows.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Strong Scala developer with experience of working on Linux with Hadoop big data platform
- Experience with Scala/Java, Spark, Apache Beam, Kafka
- Fundamental knowledge about databases and strong SQL skills
- Professional experience developing large-scale, high-volume services
- Professional experience across entire software development process, from development environment, to CI & CD, to production deployment, product and application performance measurement
- Familiar with Google Cloud ecosystem such as BigQuery, GCS, DataFlow, etc
