Data Analyst/Insight Analyst/Data Analytics Engineer/SQL Programming/ETL Processes/Automation/Big Data/Hadoop/Teradata/Spark SQL/Excel/Tableau/Agile
You'll be working as a Hybrid Data Analyst/Data Analytics Engineer on one of the world's top E-commerce websites, gathering business requirements for report automations and data analysis.
Previous experience of working for a an E-commerce business would be much preferred.
The environment is agile. You'll need excellent and advanced SQL coding skills as you'll be building SQL queries and producing automated report information. Gathering requirements, building processes and working with other teams.
It is not currently a pure Spark SQL/Hadoop environment - it's semi Spark,so Oracle SQL or Teradata is fine. We need someone who is happy with a lot of ETL processes, many different data sources and data connections. Report automation and big data experience is required.
Data Analysis and Data Insight are also major parts of the role.
This is a hybrid Data Analytics/Data Engineer role, but with more emphasis on the Data Analytics side + ETL processes + Automation.
6 months initially, but will run for at least 12 months.
Two stage interview (15 min first stage and 60 min second stage) to interview next week over Zoom and start by the end of October latest.
The contract will start 100% remotely (for at least 6 months) and when it is safe to go back on-site (whenever that may be) you'll still enjoy some flexible homeworking. Candidates would therefore need be based in the UK.
You'd also need to engage via an Umbrella Company rather than a Limited Company/PSC from day one as the off-payrolling reforms have been brought forward by this business already.
