Senior Distributed Systems Engineer (Golang)
Burns Sheehan are partnering exclusively with a pioneering digital FinTech disruptor in the search for a number of experienced Senior Distributed Systems Engineers on a contract basis. This organisation continues to thrive as a leader in the FinTech space, and this would be an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the design and build of their Distributed Systems using Golang.
As a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer you will demonstrate strong commercial experience coding in Golang in a distributed systems environment building high-availability, fault tolerant systems with event-driven architectures, with an excellent understanding of different database paradigms
This role will require the use of Key Value stores and experience with AWS DynamoDB or Cassandra would be very beneficial, as well as good knowledge of Access Patterns. You'll also be building services that connect via RPC2, and solid knowledge of Message Queues such as Kafka is key.
