SC Clearance required
You will be designing and delivering the storage and backup solution for a system of critical national infrastructure. You will be highly skilled in the latest storage and backup technologies and be able to articulate need. You will be part of a technical team focused
Storage:
Developing the specification for the SAN for a new IT system
Designing the SAN solution
Implementation of the SAN
Support of current SAN solution across development and test environments.
Backup:
Agreeing specification for the backup solution
Designing the backup solution
Implementation of the back-up solution
Support of current backup solution in the Development and Test environment - Tivoli Storage Manager
Must have:
Tivoli Storage Manager/IBM Spectrum Protect
Backup:
Experience of multiple operating systems (*nix and Windows capabilities)
Hypervisor level back up of virtual environments
Familiarity of hybrid on and off premises back up architectures
Desired skills:
Storage:
Fibre channel
Storage level replication
Familiarity with tiered hierarchical storage
