Roc search's client are currently looking for a Programme & Performance Officer on contract for a client of ours in Sheffield.

What are the tasks or work areas you are responsible for?

  • Lead on programme management co-ordinating resources to ensure programmes are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all programmes and projects are effectively planned and managed within a formal programme and project management framework.
  • Development of service specifications converting new policy and programme developments into project specifications and contracts
  • Development and management of programmes or projects, including negotiating with service delivery partners and with internally with the finance and legal team leads.
  • Management and monitoring of contract compliance and budget performance.
  • Development of project and programme risk strategies and risk management plans, including management of risk, performance and escalation of performance issues.
  • Producing reports/briefings/presentations to a high standard, delivering presentations if required.
  • Undertaking research, both qualitative and quantitative, on a breadth of policy and programme matters.
  • Maintaining project websites and publicity material as required.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance in relation to the programme, ensuring that key milestones and information are communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for monitoring risks and dealing with issues to ensure programmes and projects are delivered.
  • Undertake performance management and complex data analysis and interpretation, promoting quality practice and service delivery, ensuring continuous improvement.

Location: Sheffield, although currently fully remote (Please note that we are currently following government guidance regarding office working, and the majority of our staff are working remotely, our offices are however open and for those who want to work in the building are able to do so, we have a number of measures in place and are confirmed as COVID-19 secure. We would look to the successful candidate coming into the office on the first day to meet with the line manager and also receive their IT equipment)
