There is a new role with one of the largest and most prestigious Hedge Funds in the world, looking for a Senior Cloud Architect/Engineer with Python coding skills to join their European Cloud Technology team.
The role is to work as part of a small team defining, designing and engineering greenfield Cloud solutions for Fixed Income Trading teams across Europe, in an AWS Cloud, DevOps, Python technical environment. This position is to work in direct contact with the trading teams, senior business and technical stakeholders and wider engineers, to understand how the trading teams operate and define/build cloud solutions that will add value for the desks.
They are looking for somebody who is capable across both solution design and hands-on engineering and has day-to-day engineering skills in AWS Cloud and Python coding. This is a senior role with immediate scope to deliver business-facing solutions from scratch.
You must have the following skills and experience to be considered:
- Expert background in AWS Cloud solution design and engineering
- Hands-on, day-to-day coding in Python
- Strong experience in DevOps tooling and Automation
- Excellent communication skills
Rate is negotiable between £650/day-£850/day depending on relevant skills and experience.
