Senior Network Engineer
One of my market leading clients in Rotterdam is urgently seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a long-term contract paying excellent rates. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

The Senior Network Engineer will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- Broad knowledge of LAN, WAN and DC environments
- Knowledge of routing and switching protocols in a highly available environment
Experience and preferable one or more certifications on:
- F5 load balancers (F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator)
- Palo Alto Networks Firewalls (PCNSA) or other Firewall products
- You can manage (monitor, evaluate, continuously improve) Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management processes
- Technical implications of Security and Risk principles
- Knowledge of VMware NSX
- Knowledge of Scripting and automation tools
- Experience and preferable one or more certifications on:
- Experience in cloud deployment and infrastructure services
- Extensive knowledge of VMware NSX
- Experience or knowledge of Open Networking platforms
- You know your way around with orchestration platforms as Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, Azure Automation, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, AWS Cloud formation etc.
- Experience Scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript
The Senior Network Engineer will perform the following responsibilities
- Insight and implementation of desired structural infrastructure solution
- Creating and improve documentation and work instructions on the delivered infrastructure solution
- The technology of interfacing squads and consumers to achieve an end-to-end view
- Impact of different factors on the performance and capacity of services different elements on the performance and capacity of services
