Role: AML & Financial Crime SME
Location: Remote Initially/London
Initial 6m Contract
Daily Rate: Competitive - PAYE
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Expert AML & Financial Crime experience in a wholesale Banking environment ideally in both a BAU capacity and project work (ie remediation programmes, enforcement scenarios etc.)
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework, rules, legislation and guidance in relation to all Financial Crime matters
- Able to present issues and recommendations to senior management in governance forums in a coherent and pragmatic manner
- A demonstrable ability to explain and translate regulatory requirements to first line business departments
- Extensive experience of policy writing and assisting with policy implementation
- A proven track record of designing and delivering face to face AML & Financial Crime training at all levels with a firm
- Ability to lead on completing deliverables with a proven track record of delivering high quality work
- A team player who is flexible, able to cope with a number of tasks and shows a can do attitude
Advantageous Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working in a Branch of a European/overseas Bank would be advantageous
- Experience of working with Group policies and making recommendations for local uplifts would be an advantage
- Proven relationship and key stakeholder management skills both in UK and overseas locations preferable
Additional Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
