Team Profile:

The Compensation Controller team are responsible for financial accounting, control, and reporting, both internal and external, related to the firm's compensation and benefit plans globally. The group works closely with internal clients and stakeholders including Human Resources, Technology and other groups across the finance division. This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a global function.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Timely and accurate booking & reconciliation of payroll activity
- Respond to queries on a timely and accurate basis
- Provide variance commentary and ad-hoc analysis as required on a timely basis
- Enhance and develop processes and controls and maintain process documentation
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including HR, IT and Business Unit Controllers
- Identify, escalate and co-ordinate resolution of issues
- Provide support for project activities as required

Skills required:

- Ability to demonstrate a rounded commercial approach to reporting and controller-ship.
- Be confident in maintaining relationships across a variety of stakeholders and business areas.
- Ability to manage work load effectively, balancing multiple issues and priorities appropriately.
- Accountancy experience/part-qualified (ACCA, CA or CIMA)
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines
