Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for one of their Public sector Clients based in Croydon.
Experienced Senior DevOps engineer to lead on the implementation and deployment of a key government Business Intelligence service with a proven track record of delivering Azure hosted platforms utilising Infrastructure as Code and Azure ARM templates.
Essential Skills:
Extensive knowledge of the DevOps space
Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience deploying platforms within Microsoft Azure
Extensive experience creating CI/CD pipelines
Extensive experience efficiently leading DevOps teams
Strong knowledge of and experience of Agile working
Proficient in writing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
Proficient with Azure ARM templates
Proficient in using Git and developing Git workflows
Desirable Skills:
Experience of working with Drone
Experience working within government processes
Knowledge and experience working with AWS deployments
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps lead on project
Establishment of a DevOps environment for end client developers
Development of CI/CD for data pipelines
Write infrastructure as code that integrates with end client platform deployment practices
Knowledge transfer with end client platform teams
