We are heading up a project on behalf of a global consultancy that require a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team on a major government project that is based in Croydon.
IR35 Status: N/A up until , from onwards the role will be Inside
Candidate must be a resident in the UK for last 5 years and not travelled outside of the UK for longer than 1 month in duration within the last 5 years
Job Title - Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Clearance required- Active SC required, will need to have Government Department SC used in the last 12 months that can be transferred
Interview process: 1 stage phone interview
Location- Croydon, will be remote working for now
Job Spec-
Experienced Senior DevOps engineer to lead on the implementation and deployment of a key government Business Intelligence service with a proven track record of delivering Azure hosted platforms utilising Infrastructure as Code and Azure ARM templates.
Essential Skills:
Extensive knowledge of the DevOps space
Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience deploying platforms within Microsoft Azure
Extensive experience creating CI/CD pipelines
Extensive experience efficiently leading DevOps teams
Strong knowledge of and experience of Agile working
Proficient in writing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
Proficient with Azure ARM templates
Proficient in using Git and developing Git workflows
Desirable Skills:
Experience of working with Drone
Experience working within government processes
Knowledge and experience working with AWS deployments
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps lead on project
Establishment of a DevOps environment for end client developers
Development of CI/CD for data pipelines
