Description

Position - PAS Manager
Location - Stoke on Trent
Day rate - £300-£350 (Inside IR35)
Start date -
Duration- 6-12 months

Key Responsibilities

  • To serve as an ambassador of EPR to all users and other stakeholders, to ease the management of change and adoption of the new system.
  • Communicate complex EPR issues, both administrative and clinical to IT and non-IT managers across the Trust of IT issues which can be multi-stranded or complicated.
  • Negotiate with external organizations and 3rd Party suppliers with regards service and operational issues, negotiating the priorities.
  • To present and demonstrate a wide variety of IT solutions and communicate the business processes supported by those systems to large user groups and senior managers using the appropriate media depending on the audience.
  • To negotiate with clinical and non-clinical groups to achieve key strategic decisions where factors may to conflicting, contentious or sensitive.
  • Where limitations of the EPR are identified liaise with local application developers/administrators to identify and design software and business solutions to bridge the limitations.
  • To seek the opinions of other NHS organizations in England where standards, policies and procedures are unclear nationally.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all disciplines within and external to the Trust.
  • To work as a member of a team encouraging knowledge share across the team.
  • To be responsible for the EPR systems being developed, maintained and changes in line with national and local initiatives, such as national service frameworks, the clinical governance agenda, clinical risk strategies, national standards and NHS & IM&T strategies.
  • Knowledge and expertise is backed by appropriate qualifications.
