Job Title: Senior Consultant (Risk Management)

Duration: 3 months (Possible Extension)

Location: Hemel Hempstead (Work from Home till further notice)

Role Overview: Intelligent Resource is currently recruiting for Senior Consultant to join one of their key project teams in Hemel.

On client's instructions, due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate must have current security clearance (SC Clearance) to a high level.

Role Overview To be responsible for, and take ownership of, specific activities (and their outcomes) as part of a consulting team and support more senior consultants on consulting projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the successful delivery of activities as part of a consulting project in order to achieve revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
Combine fresh thinking and insight to identify additional consulting opportunities and shape innovative ideas for new and existing clients
Support the capture and shaping of consulting opportunities for clients, helping them re-imagine the future and stay ahead of the curve
Support bid opportunities for consulting projects that demonstrate client's distinctive and sustainable consulting business and secure additional revenue and/or new clients Be an advocate of client's Consulting through participation in industry forums, events and social media
Live the consulting-led culture by embracing innovative, highly disruptive technologies that support new ways of working in a digital world
Contribute to the wider Consulting Community

Essential Skills -

  • Good customer facing skills - able to communicate effectively with staff and clients at all levels
  • Extensive experience in IT, specifically in a management role with a proven track record
  • Knowledge of HMG Security Policy Framework/Risk Management/Vulnerability Management/Protective Monitoring/Security report analytics
  • Creation and maintenance of detailed Security Management Plans and ISMS ITHC vulnerability assessments and remediation

Desirable Skills -

  • CISSP/NCSC CCP certified
  • A member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals/British Computer Society/Information Security Forum
  • Information Security for GSi/GXSx/PSN Interconnectivity and Code of Connection Compliance together with N3 Interconnectivity
  • Knowledge of Data & Voice Network Management together with secure architecture design
  • Experience of Audit systems
  • Experience of Archimate
